About Theorio
UK driving theory test preparation, built for learners whose first language isn't English.
Our Mission
Theorio helps people with English as a second language pass the UK driving theory test. The exam is taken in English — but understanding UK road rules, right-of-way conventions, and safety terminology is hard when you're learning driving concepts and a second language at the same time.
We keep questions in English (matching the UK theory test format) and provide explanations in the learner's native language — a method we call the Language Bridge. Our learners study the exact terminology they'll face on test day, while the reasoning behind each answer comes through clearly in the language they think in.
What Theorio Is
Theorio is a study product for the UK driving theory test. It helps learner drivers practise English test content with explanations in their chosen language, mock tests, Highway Code summaries and hazard perception practice.

Hazard Perception Practice
Hazard perception practice is designed to reward recognising developing hazards, not continuous clicking. Repeated or patterned clicking may score zero, so learners are encouraged to click when they identify a developing hazard.
